Our Team

Melanie Munsey
CEO
As CEO of Credit Union First, Mel brings 30 years of in-depth experience in both the Insurance and Credit Union industry. Her firsthand knowledge is indispensable. She is passionate about Credit Unions and wants to help them by working together to create better programs for the services and products that they already use. In her past position of President of an Insurance CUSO she led three successful mergers and increased income by over 500%. Mel has served as both a Director and Member of a Supervisor Board, so she understands the complexity of your Credit Union.

Dan Daggett
CSO
Dan Daggett has been a Change Agent for his entire 30-year Credit Union career. Having been a Credit Union CEO, CUSO CEO and owner of Daggett Enterprises USA he knows the issues Credit Union and CUSO’s face daily, and he has the knowledge to help address those issues. One of Dan’s strongest qualities is his ability to listen and ask questions to determine a path to find solutions to his client’s needs. At Credit Union’s First Dan will not stop creating Disruptive products and programs that give control back to the Credit Unions he and the CU 1st Team serve.

Emily Jorgenson
Manager, Training & Development
Emily is passionate about empowering others to excel thorough training and communication. She brings a variety of experience in IT Software training, marketing and communication.

Jon Jorgenson
Co-Founder
Jon Jorgenson understands insurance principles and is applying a proven strategy to Collateral Protection Insurance. We created a Cloud-Based Platform to manage the Lender's plan and provide complete transparency of their performance. Both components (strategy and platform) allow Financial Institutions more opportunity and control of their Collateral Protection Plan.

Jeff Steinke is a strategic business expert with over 35 years of experience in the automotive industry. He’s made a name for himself by partnering with dealerships and working companies, like Cancellation Management and Vantage², allowing him to use his experience to assist his clients. His companies focus on providing effective strategies and execution of products and services to financial institutions and dealerships.

Jeremy Silva
Chairperson
With 20 years of credit union industry expertise, Jeremy Silva serves as the Chief Financial Officer of AMOCO Federal Credit Union. As an integral leader in his field, he oversees all financial reporting, accounting, compliance, risk management, and internal audits for AMOCO. As Board Chair of Credit Unions First, Jeremy develops profitable strategic plans for our partners while considering and advocating for keeping the focus on the interest of those we ultimately serve - the members.
